Ethiopia: Diaspora Politico got ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome) decry the infamous Tadias Magazine based in New York. The head-in-the sand Magazine with deep affection for the ethnic Apartheid regime of Woyane must be desperate for good news of the Addis Ababa regime for long to finally find one – the US Ambassador in Ethiopia Michele Raynor’s speech during the delivery of a Boeing 787 – 9 jet for Ethiopian Airline fleet.

The US government agency EXIM Bank and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) co- financed purchase as part of the Obama Administration’s export competitiveness in the manufacturing sector policy to promote US export that appropriated 5 billion dollars since 2012 is not news unless one is desperate for good news for a regime in dire need of good news to help it hold on to illegitimate power.   Who else but Taddias Magazine came to the rescue with the help of US Ambassador’s Speech and an old photo of President Obama’s 2015 visit in Addis Ababa where he declared the ‘democratically elected’ regime is a hired hand to fight Al Shabab instead of US soldiers?

The unnamed Tadis Magazine reporter was not looking for good news but, to find anything to throw a cheap jab on the increasingly bold and assertive Ethiopians in the diaspora that are determined to end the atrocious and corrupt ethnic apartheid regime on its last leg.

Given Tadias Magazine is not alone agonizing to make the best out of a regime that is desperately looking for any help to hung on, you have to admire Tadias use of the US Ambassador that issued travel warning for US citizens since Ethiopians revolted to end the regime rule and the former President Obama that is embarrassed for making a mockery of democracy and a laughing stock his legacy to the world.

But, you got to give Tadias reporter[s] credit for defining what they refer the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” as a state of mind when people “stop thinking logically and stop making common sense when it comes to the former president” and went on, “In our case, the politicos in diaspora still peddling the same old fake news narratives that blame not themselves but, the ex-U.S. leader for their own failure (to date) to meaningfully influence US policy towards Ethiopia. Meanwhile, noting seems to have changed in Ethiopia since last year.”

It appears who ever define ODS and accuse the politicos’ of “the old fake news narratives peddling Diasporas that stop thinking logically and stop making common sense when it comes to the former president” must believe, Tadias is peddling real news, including President Obama assertion of by 100% vote “democratically elected” regime of Ethiopia. Or their Nov 7 2017 article Ethiopia-what-really-happened-in-ambo?, claim rumors smuggled sugar passing through Ambo town is the reason for the demonstration that followed Woyane police killing the people that gathered to stop it.

Quite honestly, I don’t know what Tadias’ “Obama Derangement Syndrome” of “a state of mind when people stop thinking logically and stop making common sense when it comes to the former president” means. But, I do know what ‘Woyane Derangement Syndrome’. That is, the inability of a mind not to distinguishes reality from illusion or what is referred in Medicine Psychosis, a mental disorder characterized by a disconnect from reality.

No one knows who is responsible for the decision of what the Magazine is all about and what is or not published from the dozen names provided. Unless they are all operating in a la-la land disconnect from reality or pay to play, I can’t find an explanation how they wake up every day in a la-la land and put their fantasy in writing and share it with the world.

Regardless, in the real world; Tseday Alehegn, the Founder & publisher and Liben Eabisa, Founder & Editor of Tadias Magazine is responsible for the content of the publication. But, in la-la land responsibility is a luxury they can’t afford.
