Bomb Explosion in Jimma, Ethiopia Injures 13

On the second day of a region wide ‘stay home’ strike a bomb explosion in the city of Jimma injured 13 people reported FBC, government affiliated news media. The explosion took place around noon time in the neighborhood called Leghar between two buildings.

The injured that included two women and a 10 years old child were taken to Jimma University Hospital for emergency treatment. The hunt for the suspected bomber is ongoing and the local police has asked the people to cooperate with the search.

The city of Jimma is the largest city in in south-western Ethiopia and is 352 km south west of the capital city, Addis Ababa.
