Ethiopia is pushing on with construction of its massive new dam, despite growing objections from Egypt.

The controversial project has strained relations between the two nations, because Egypt, which lies downstream, sees it as a risk to its water supply from the Blue Nile.

Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Vall has visited the site of the $5bn project, which will one day be Africa’s biggest hydroelectric dam.

  1. Arabs invaded in 700 hundreds…lie about being Egyptians (Kemet) … Enslave Africans…..Now threaten PROGRESS… Friends…Na Frienamies 😎💪🌍 Africa!

  2. This is the chance for blacks around the world to unite. It's the chance for African-Americans to put their money where their mouths and come to the defence of Ethiopia against an Arab invader. If Ethiopia were to lose a war against Egypt it would shame all Africans around the world. Also it's unacceptable for another black nation like Eritrea to not to cede some land to Ethiopia so it can get access to the sea. It's wrong for Eritrea and Ethiopia to fight but Ethiopia needs access to the sea.

  3. I don't have anything against Egypt. but let's be honest, Africa is a cesspool, and Egypt too. Africa is the poorest, ugliest and most retarded continent in the world. yet they are spawning like rabbits. I hope that dam will lead to a sharp decline in the Egyptian population. Egypt's population is exploding. And the blackies down south need to stop breeding and start working.
