Social media giant Facebook is under fire amid allegations that the data of millions of its users was misused for political ends. A British consultancy firm, Cambridge Analytica, harvested the information through an online personality test.

This was allegedly used to help both the Trump presidential campaign in the United States and groups in favour of Brexit, Britain’s proposed exit from the European Union.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg denies wrongdoing, saying the creator of the personality test app acted illegally.

But that has not satisfied the US Congress, the UK parliament, or the European parliament. They have all summoned Zuckerberg to answer questions on user privacy.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Analytica has suspended its CEO Alexander Nix.

What can Facebook do to protect its users’ data?

  1. He need to break fb up and have each country have their own platforms, just one platform for the whole world is too big to manage.

  2. here is a question. Did his information get harvested I bet not he most likely has systems in place to protect him 🙂

  3. So Facebook (a company owned/run by a descendant of the Rothschild family) is being used to influence elections all over the world. Wow so this is their next step to seek control of every aspect of sheeps around the world.

  4. the increase in violent crime AND BOMBINGS(from 23yo kids) is definitely not directly from what these kids see in the News unless its a major incident. Most kids are too busy to keep up with all the increase in crime in all Metro areas because most of the time its not even available to them: for example now in 2018 cops die all the time and teenagers wont even hear about it because its in another state and theres way too much news all over their local front page news.

The kids dont keep up with the overall increase in crime from all the metro areas, they get news more directly when it is a major crime scene, then they decide to copy cat the CRIME for a similar result.. MORE SIMPLY these younger kids are just not getting along and they have an immature, corrupt, criminally insane Metropolitan run world full of bad role models

ALSO there is a lot of Garbage talk and lots of pollution and theres a place called the DUMP its on the lower side of town and thats where they all like to DUMP anything they dont want.. there are also places on the outside of your city limits where people always show up and drop off a couch and they often put up signs that say "NO DUMPING" … can you explain these areas? the fact of the matter is that they are always locations where the person can DUMP without being seen guaranteed so thats EXACTLY why the county has to put up a sign that says "NO DUMPING"

NEW YORKERS they are ALWAYS THE BEST about the dump and the upper sides and the lower sides of town and where to live and where to DUMP

  5. Privacy? Think about the new sitelite internet projects and inserting a chip inside a humans from born. The chips, of course, will like a passport, an ID of a person. I can say more. The ship which will record everything you did in your life. 😉
And more futuristic view is the story of Robert Sheckley 'The Status Civilization'. 🙂

  6. Almost every parents tell their children to not talk with strangers. And now adults do the same mistake – share personal info with a strangers and a corporations. In what world they live? 🙂
