Police in wajir are investigating a Kenya wildlife officer who was arrested while escorting illegal immigrants from Ethiopia.
The KWS officer was in the company of an administration police officer who escaped from the security officers at Garsekhotu 180 kilometers west of wajir.
The officers were ferrying 52 ethiopian Immigrants into the country from the moyale border.
The Illegal immigrants were sentenced to 6 months in prison or a fine of 50,000 shillings each. Poice asked for more time to conclude their investigations on the role of the KWS officer
