The federal High Court that’s hearing the case continued its session by hearing testimonies from the 3rd and 4th witnesses for the prosecutor.
The terror charges brought on Dr Merera Gudina are based on the fact he was sitting next to Professor Berhanu of Patriotic Ginbot 7 in Brussels, Belgium to speak on human rights situation at the invitation of the European Parliament in November 2016.
The government of Ethiopia alleges Dr Merera has met with Professor Berhanu, who the government considers a terrorist and has sentenced him to death in absentia.
