  1. Great discussion.. I also believe people will never abandon God and religion because people will always have some sort of faith. I agree with Reza. We wouldn't be better off without religion.. It's always something with human beings.. If it wasn't religious it would be political or both or economic gains. In fact some people need religion as it holds people accountable meaning your evilness will catch up with you one day -in this life or the next. Therefore whether you like it or not it's in your best interest to act accordingly. But can religion be manipulated? 100%.

  2. Religion is not to be blamed nor atheists nor any specific kind of people. Their was always hate in this world from the beginning and it will continue through out time. But those who have faith are the winners. God is true science cannot prove it nor can it disprove It.

  3. Unlike atheism religion has morals, respect and responsibility. It teaches to be kind and caring. But it’s described by them those who have no faith atheist upsetting social order. To their inhumanity through out time has come messengers to guide them. I think people had enough with your stupidities so please for the sake of morality stop and get help.

  4. Im agnostic, If god came in human form and said he created the universe and was the Bigbang and gave a scientific reasoning behind this and so fourth, then ill accept that and call him god but I wouldnt worship him.

  5. Religion must be eradicated from society and placed in the museum of antiquities. And where are the philosophers and sociologists?

  6. Faith is the thing each person believes which keeps them going, it's what keeps hope alive. Religion is a great tool to help people develop their faith.
When religion is taken literally or used in place of faith, it can destroy both individuals and nations.

  7. “My people are going to learn the principles of democracy the dictates of truth and the teachings of science. Superstition must go. Let them worship as they will, every man can follow his own conscience provided it does not interfere with sane reason or bid him act against the liberty of his fellow men.”

“If one day, my words are against science, choose science.”
