  1. If the Iraqi constitution was fully implemented like you demand, you would never have control over Kirkuk or (continue) oppressing Assyrians in the Nineveh plain by forecfully annexing their lands and erasing their identity. The Peshmerga wouldn't exist or would be under direct control of the Prime Minister (like all other militia such as the Assyrian Nineveh Protection Units, the Shia Hashd al-Shaabi, etc.). All illegally exported oil from Kirkuk and the current selling of oil by the KRG would have its revenues given directly to the central government. And much more.

Iraqi Kurds are given more rights and opportunities than any other ethnicity in Iraq and definitely more than Kurds in other countries, yet they continue to whine and complain like the Ottoman pets they are.

  2. This guy is annoying and biased but then again it's Al Jazeera from Qatar. Qatar sure knows what fighting is right or having a history of genocide? Do a better job Al Jazeera your as bad as CNN.

  3. Guy keeps on asking her when independence is gonna happen. Probably the same time when Palestine gets theirs. When the world comes to an end. Because that is how the regional powers and global super powers want it.

  4. Kurdish referendum was a big mistake. The Kurds are not smart. Kurdistan would become a landlocked area surrounded by Iraq, Turkey, Iran & Syria. These nations could put a air & land blockade on them, making it impossible to export or import any goods. Kurdistan would be the demise of Kurds.

  5. I don't get the comments about Mehdi "mansplaining" and interrupting? Funny. Watching before reading the comment I actually thought he was unusually restrained fearing allegation of mansplaining. He let her talk and evade too much in my opinion. Mehdi stay true to your great style be it women or not. You are obviously damned if you…..

  6. The referendom may be a mistake, trusting the west is. Now the West screw the Kurds as expected and lost the support from East.
